Abstract


Investigation Of The Effect Of Physical Activity On Children Self-Directed Learning And Creativity Level

The aim of this study is to investigation of the effect of physical activity on children self-directed learning and creativity level The research group was made of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 260 male 252 female, 512( age= 8.3184 + 1.27838 ) in total studying Hatice and Hakkı Polat primary school, Şehit Danış Tunalığil primary school and Zehra Galip Sumra primary school located in the Karaman province Ermenek county. To achieve the purpose of the research, Creativity Scale developed by Torrance(1966) adapted to Turkish by Aslan (2001) And Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale (SDLRS) Developed By Fisher and et al (1999) adapted to Turkish by Kocaman and et al (2004) were used for data collection. Simple Experimental design consisting of pre-test, post-test and follow-up test was used in the research In the analysis and assessment of the data, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, One-Way Anova for Repeated Measures, One-Way Anova test and Tukey test, was used and significance was taken as P<0.05 and in the evaluation of the data and the determination of the calculated values, SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) package program was used.As a result of this study; Among the TTCT measurements, formal fluency, originality, abstraction of the titles, enrichment, resistance to early closure, creative forces sub-dimension mean scores and TTCT Verbal form B; Fluency, flexibility and originality sub-dimension mean scores and also self-learning readiness mean scores were found to significant difference in favor of the post-test.
